Running for city council in Helsinki
I am a mother of two living in Pukinmäki, a Master’s degree student in Educational Sciences, and the Secretary General of a student organization. My goal is for Helsinki to be a great place to live for everyone, everywhere in the city!

Kids.
Helsinki children deserve qualified and permanent staff for both daycare centers and schools. A daycare center must be located in the same city district, and the necessary support measures cannot be waited for six months. Problematic situations in schools must be addressed quickly, if necessary in cooperation with the police, child welfare and youth work. However, the best way to address the the problems of children and young people is through preventive work. Youth work must be present in everyday life, both physically and online, and cultural events for children must be organized everywhere in the city.
Suburbs.
Suburbs must be developed in a long-term and systematic manner. The shameful spots of many suburbs, the stations, must be improved! Public transport must operate smoothly everywhere in Helsinki. Services must be located close to residents.

Nature.
Helsinki must take responsibility for climate change and nature loss. Local nature is important both for nature itself and for the recreational value of residents. Traffic noise and problems caused by fine particles must be controlled wherever people live and move.
